"Mama Wak" means "Mama is watching." It is for the mothers, families, friends and supporters who proudly follow every Curaçao athlete representing our island — at home, in the diaspora, and everywhere in between.
Our story
Curaçao is small, but our pride is huge. Every athlete who pulls on the shirt carries the love of an entire island with them. We wanted to give that love a home — one place where families and supporters can follow our people, no matter the sport, no matter the country.
Mama Wak launches with Mundial because the FIFA World Cup is one of the biggest moments in sport, and a natural place to start. Inside the app you'll find schedules, results, standings, teams, players, venues, tournament information and the Curaçao World Cup digital book — all in your pocket.
But Mundial is the beginning, not the destination. Mama Wak is built to grow into a true Curaçao sports platform — for local competitions, international fixtures and every athlete who proudly represents Yu di Kòrsou.
